Working with new and existing clients we’ve been busy working on a large variety of projects since our last behind the scenes blog; filming 13 talking head interviews in central London, capturing B-roll footage for a new school video, creating a group induction video for a large manufacturing company across UK & I to name just a few…
Below, we’ve selected a few we’re excited to share more about;
Working with local business Stoveworld UK…
The team have been shooting new product videos to highlight key features and showcase new products. Demo and Q&A style videos were also recorded to answer common questions raised by customers and to explain differences between models. The videos were posted to the product pages on Stoveworld’s website along with Stoveworld UK’s Youtube channel which receives 1000’s of monthly views from potential customers.
The client was keen to show the products in a natural scenario, so mainly daylight was used to light the setting rather than relying full on artifical lighting. A large fill light was positioned at the back of the room to ensure consistency and provide an overall lift in the brightness.
A little further afield…
Shooting for a week in sunny Barcelona… Filming the winners of a global awards scheme, the brief was to capture the experience and week long celebrations a winner receives when winning this companies prestigious award. Winners were flown from around the world to Barcelona and a variety of events, parties and the main awards show were hosted across the city.
The crew followed the attendees to these various events creating a engaging, high-energy video which was shared across the 2 million+ global workforce. The primary goal was to incentivise others within the company to win the award themselves in coming years.
Whilst filming during the week, edits were being crafted on-site as a surprise to be shown at the final night concert to an audience of 16,000+ people before The Killers and Dua Lipa took to the stage as the main entertainment.
Between our 4 camera crew and using a variety of Cine cameras and motion stabilised gimbals and equipment, the end result truly captures the energy and atmosphere of the amazing experience!
Always looking to use new and creative techniques…
The brief for this project was to create lightboard videos. This sees a presenter live drawing on glass, whilst also presenting to camera.
Utilising a glass lightboard and clever lighting on a black painted infinity background and darkened studio space, we could create the illusion that the presenter was drawing in thin air in front of their face as they presented their content.
4 videos in total were created on a variety of topics within the cybersecurity industry.
Podcasts have been growing in record numbers…
Over the past few years podcasts are a great way of engaging your audience by inviting guests in to discuss various topics.
This project involved setting up a podcast studio in the company’s office in the centre of London.
The sound recording was priority so podcast mics were used to capture a studio sounding interview. The client also wanted the podcast filmed, so 3 cameras were also used to capture the speakers and create long form videos of each discussion.
The result was 3 podcasts recorded and distributed in two mediums (audio podcast and a video podcast) that the client’s audience could consume in their preferred way.
Flying across the pond…
Working for the same client as the Barcelona project, the team flew out to sunny Chicago to film another awards event.
Capturing the experience of winners flown in from around the globe, this 4 day shoot was packed full of fun filled experiences for the winners – such as a celebratory reception and tour held at the Global HQ… A river cruise through Chicago’s skyscraper lined waters… And to top it all off, a gala dinner held at Navy Pier in the iconic ballroom.
The team edited a 90 second action-packed short form video recapping the winner’s experience and incentivising others within the company to win future awards.
